Africa

8. Find something he has to say about Africa, and post the quote on your blog.

1. While reading the article I thought that it would be really fun to go to Africa and take pictures of animals in their natural habitat. But when he was describing his living conditions It made me feel bad for him, then I realized that I would have done the same thing for something that I love doing. I think that i what he is doing. While looking at the pictures in the slide show it really showed me how animals in the wild acted. Also it amazed me how close he got to the animals.
3.This photo is my favorite because eit is really simple and also it captures a lot of emotion in it.An elephant walks across a dry grass land while dirt files away. Another reason that I like this picture is because the way that the elephant is in the center of the photo with the dirt the right of it is something that I like.
4. This photo apples to simplicity because in the picture its just the elephant and nothing else. Another rule that this photo is, is balance and leading lines because the way that the ears and the trucks are mirrored makes it balance and the trucks lead to the center of the photo. drawing your eyes to the trunk then to the rest of the elephant.
5. Nick Brant uses a  Pentax 67 for a camera, and for lenses he uses is not a tilt shift sense. This is important because that is how he got all of these amazing pictures he used a film camera and did all of the photo adjustments in camera and didn't edit the photos, maybe to turn them black and white.
6. He wanted to capture the animals in there "state of being". To show every one what animals in their natural habitat looks like. Also he wants to save the animals that are in danger of being killed  and show that they should not be killed and we should just let then live.
7.Nick's hope with these photos is that they will spread awareness that the animals should not be filled and hunted because they deserve to be left in their state of being. In the wild and under the sun.
8."What I am interested in is showing the animals simply in the state of being—before, in the wild at least, they cease to exist. This world is under terrible threat, all of it caused by us."
