Extra Credit
1- The man Ki Suk Han was a 58-year old Queens resident who was pushed into the railroad tracks he tried to pull himself off of the tracks but he wasn't strong enough to. A photographer Umar Abbasi says that he tried to use his flash to signal the train to stop but it couldn't stop fast enough.
2- Abbasi says that he tried using the flash of his camera to signal the driver to slow the train but it didn't work. The train count stop fast enough.
3- I think that the photographer should have tried helping the man instead taking the picture because maybe if other people saw the photographer try to help the man the other people could have helped too and maybe the man would have lived instead of be hit by the train.
4- No i don't think that the photographer did the best thing he could have done because he could have put down his camera and tried to help the man. I know he says that he tried and decide to take a picked instead of keep trying, but maybe other people would have helped is he tried a little longer.
5- I think that it is okay for them the run the photo so that maybe next time something like this happened people might try t stop this from happening.
6- To a photojournalist, capturing images as they happen is what they do. But that docent mean that they would take like 2 pictures then go to help them. Because people look at pictures and they can help spread awareness to others about what is going on places.
7- I think that it is okay for the photographer to involve themselves in a situation because maybe with their help they could fix or help stop what ever is happening.
8- No, I think that if it important enough that they should get involved to see if there is something that they could do to help.
9- People are mad about this photo, that the photographer that took this picture didn't try to help him. No one believes Abbasi's story of how he tried to warn the conductor. Most people believe that he should have put down his camera and helped the man.
