American Soldier

A- The most powerful image to me was when me was leaving for his first time to go to training. This picture was powerful because it showed a lot of emotion in Ian's eyes, also you can see his mom and dad in the back and you can see how they are standing. Also the way he is hugging his friends is very powerful.

B-The images work together by the photographer capturing all of the important emotion filled moments in his life. When you put them all together and add captions that go in greater detail you have a story that grass the readers attention.

C- The captions enhance the pictures by giving more detail about what happened during and after the picture was taken. It shows you more into Ian's personality and grabs you into the story more.

D- Ian joined into the Army after finishing high school, before going to training he had two going away parties one with family and one with friends. After being on base for two days he was having second thoughts but soon had them resolved. During his training he was given weapons and asked to take them apart then put them back together. Ian often was goofing off with his friends and that got him in trouble often. He went through hard and tough training that paid off in the end because Ian loved what was doing. After finishing his training he went home and proposed to his current girlfriend Kayla, they would later break up. He would contained with more advanced training before going to Iraq. When he came home fore a visit he dad was worried for him because he was taking pain medications for his injuries during advanced training. He assured his dad that he was fine and that the pain helps with his breakup with Kayla. Soon he would finish advanced training and be deployed for Iraq his family was worried for him. After being in Iraq for a year he and girlfriend Devin would get married .

1-On average there are around 2-3 sentences.
2-They tell you who, what, when, where.
3- The second sentence tells you stuff that you can't see in the picture.
4-In the third sentence it includes a quote.
5-yes, Most captions include a quote.
6- No they all include 2-3 sentences.

G- I think that it is possible to tell a story with just pictures and captions because picture are full with emotion and the captions just add extra information.
H- When you have a story with just photo sand captions you should write a story with it so you can go even deeper into the background detail also the pictures can't show everything so the story can describe it.
