Student of the Month

This April, the Student of the Month is Melina Teufel. Students interviewed Melina to learn more about her and her time at Bowie High. The article also highlights her accomplishments.

Melina was recently awarded the student of the Month award.

"I think that my positive attitude has really contributed to me winning this thing," Melina said.

Many of Melina's friends have reacted to her winning this in a positive way.

"They are all really happy for me," Melina said.

Her teacher, Mrs.Smith, has commented on her recent win.

"I was so happy to learn of Melina's accomplishment, and I think she is a wonderful student," math teacher Mrs.Smith said.

Melina maintained good relationships with everyone.

" I love all my friends," Melina said.

The student also likes to participate in many electives. "I am in tech theater, photojournalism, and art," Melina said.

She also does things outside of school.

"I play club soccer, draw, and hang out with my friends," said Melina.

School is also a big part of Melina's life.

"I focus a lot on school and my grades reflect that," Melina said.

Besides winning Student of the Month, Melina has other plans.

" I plan to keep my grades up as well as my attitude," Melina said.

The next Student of the Month will be announced in the late last week of April.
