Ansel Adams was born in San Francisco, California on February 20th, 1902. He died on April 22, 1984. when he was younger he wanted to be a professional pianist but after traveling to national parks as a kid Adams fell in love with taking pictures of nature. For school he went to Harvard to study photography. After he graduated he worked as a photographer. Ansel wrote at least 30 books about his pictures that he takes at national parks. One of his most popular is called The Camera.
